I'm so done
I can't believe it's March already. It feels like the year just started, yet here we are—3 months in.
I'm looking forward to better weather. Winter was brutal this year. I mean, I do live in Canada so I'm used to the bitter cold winter months. However, this year we got dumped so much snow that I couldn't even remember what the sidewalk looked like anymore. It seems like ever since mid December we were getting snowstorms once a week.
Our biggest snowfall came at the end of January. We got about 46 cm (18 inches) of snow and some parts of the city got 61 cm (24 inches). The night of and the next day were chaotic to say the least. I was actually scheduled to work in the office but was unable to get my car out of my parking lot, so I worked from home instead. Since then, we kept getting snowstorm after snowstorm, or at least that's what it felt like.
Now that some snow has melted away, I can finally see the sidewalk again. I'm really looking forward to spring. Lighter coats and sunshine. Because I've had it with the snow.
